Welcome
Erwin is a community that began in 1903 along with the construction of a cotton mill.
Much of Erwin’s history revolves around the mill. In fact, this former “Denim Capital of the World” holds a yearly fall festival called “Denim Days” which celebrates the town’s rich heritage and association with the mill.
Denim Days is proudly coordinated and sponsored by the Erwin Area Chamber of Commerce and our wonderful partners!
